Aleksandra wins poster prize at the Sussex Cancer Research Centre Annual Symposium!

Congratulations to Aleksandra Kolosova, who was awarded the poster prize at this year's Sussex Cancer Research Centre Annual Symposium.

Aleksandra, a PhD student in the lab, presented her work on “How AML Heterogeneity Shapes the Bone Marrow Niche to Drive Therapy Resistance and Response”. The prize recognises both the quality of her science and the clarity with which she communicated it.

The symposium brings together cancer researchers from across Brighton and Sussex Medical School, the University of Sussex, the University of Brighton, and NHS Trusts to share new findings and build collaborations. It was a great opportunity for Aleksandra to discuss her project with the wider community and a well-deserved result so early in her PhD.

Congratulations, Aleksandra — a fantastic achievement!
